An email from another author this morning made me think of this. Writing can be a lonely business and sometimes we wait for the book to be out to see readers’ reactions to the story we’ve worked hard to tell.
But I’m going to say this, from one writer to another, from one creative to another:
You know that project you’re working on right now? You’re doing a good job!
Whatever stage you’re in, be it conception/story idea, development/writing/editing or implementation/book launch, know that you’re doing a good job.
And keep it up. Someone is waiting to consume what you create and they are going to love it.
