“Why am I really here?” Gina asked. “I don’t know any kidnapper who would keep their captive in a mansion, feed her and let her work online. You haven’t demanded any ransom that I know of, not that I have anyone who can pay it, anyway. And you haven’t demanded sex.”

“Do you want to have sex with me?” His eyes sparkled, his lips curving into a smirk.

“I…” she spluttered and lifted the glass of water to her lips to cool her heated body. She’d opened that door and he hadn’t hesitated about walking straight through it. “That’s not what I mean.”
